My trip to beautiful Red Moab!

Happy Hump Day everyone! A very Happy New Year to all of you. I wanted to share our trip to beautiful Moab last Thanksgiving. Moab is a beautiful town in Utah covered with red mountains. It was a 5 hour car drive from Boulder to Moab. We stayed in a dog friendly motel in Moab from where we visited Canyonland National Park and Arches national Park. I am not sure where to begin but I never saw anything like Utah before. It was grand and amusing. I went with my Husband, our pup Tofu and friends. All of them had visited Moab before except me and Tofu. In fact this was the first ever trip of Tofu. He out of all enjoyed the most I feel. He also got used to long car trips and loved hanging out through the car window.

Canyonlands National Park is out of the world and we had super fun off-roading on Shafer Trail. What really amused me is the fact that Canyonlands is carved by Colorado River over the period of millions of years. Its a beautiful dramatic desert landscape which will leave you in awe with its history and beauty. Island in the sky was the highlight of Canyonland where we spent time enjoying sunset and praising nature and its wonders.

We also enjoyed hot cup of tea and Maggi with the breathtaking views and chilly winds.

Arches National Park lies north of Moab in the state of Utah. It is known as the site of more than 2,000 natural sandstone arches. There are many geological formations towering all over this park. Few of the popular Arches are Balanced rock, Delicate arch, Devils garden, Double Arch and Landscape Arch. The highlight of this park was a beautiful hike to the spectacular Delicate Arch.
